The format of the day will be refreshments on arrival prior to playing 18 holes of golf on the Seve Ballesteros ‘Masters’ course. This will be followed by a 3 course meal in our private function room for both players and evening guests. During the evening and after the meal we will be announcing the winners of the various competitions for the day and presenting prizes. In addition as this is a fund raising event for our boys’ tour, we are planning to host an auction with some great items for you and your guests to bid for.

To date we have already been kindly donated one week’s accommodation for 2 in Morzine Julia’s company Jones Lang LaSalle and 3 nights stay in apartment in Malta for up to 6 people from mc square marketing. I am sure we will also be able to secure a signed Saracens rugby shirt / ball etc, thanks to Graeme’s connections! But this is not enough, so we need more good value items to auction both high and lower in value.

We are also looking to see if we can possibly entice some of the Saracens professional players to join us on the day for a game of golf and possibly someone to do a Q&A session in the evening. If not it will have to be Simon and Richard!! We will keep you posted on how we get on with this.

The costs
Refreshments on arrival including bacon rolls + 18 holes golf + 3 Course evening meal - Only £89 per person

So how can you help so it’s not always us parents that are funding these events? There are several easy ways:

Invite some friends or clients and make up a team of 4 on the day or maybe a couple of teams.
Ask your business contacts or suppliers if they would be willing to donate any items for the auction – vouchers for their services, pro
ducts, dinner in your favourite restaurant, signed sporting memorabilia (not just rugby), your own business’ services….. Main items donators will be featured in the golf day programme too
Sponsor the whole Golf Day and have your company name/logo as main feature across all future communication and promotional material, including a feature in final tour programme in 2016. You will also be able to have a display banner / area at the venue on the day and evening + Full page advert in programme + feature on Facebook page - £950 (if you can get a higher bid then please do try!)
Sponsor a hole and have your company logo printed on a promotional sign in the Tee off area + Logo & listing in programme - £90
Sponsor the longest drive competition - £120
Sponsor the nearest the pin - £120
Ask your business contacts to place an advert in golf day’s programme – Half page (A6) £50 or Full page (A5) £90 LIMITED SPACES

We hope that this event can be a great success and help us raise lots of money for the tour and then be able to repeat the event again next year. To make it a success we really need your help so please do spread the word. We will produce an official promotional leaflet/poster but in the meantime please do copy and past some of the above into an email and forward it on or speak to your friends or mention in it on Facebook – I will be setting it up as an event there too.
