hope you and your kids enjoyed your morning / afternoon at Ealing as much as Ben and me did.

Really hospitable club, great facilities (!), welcoming coaches and plenty of game time for the kids played in good spirit. A number of the kids haven’t played much competitive rugby for a few weeks but it certainly didn’t show. I think an overall showing of P9, W8, L1 is pretty impressive for our age group top to bottom. I understand there was some lovely rugby played by all teams with everyone involved and putting in a shift.

The group that I was with played with great heart but also their heads which was fantastic to see. We tackled and rucked aggressively and tried to move the ball when we had the opportunity. If we can get away from our tendency to crowd the ball in the later games we’ll be very hard to beat in weeks to come. I was genuinely delighted by how far this team has come so far this season but also had similar feedback from Russell and Dani on the other 2 groups.
